Lemonade Factory Music is the boutique music publisher & record label representing Andrea England’s song and recording catalogues.
Nova Scotia born, Toronto-based singer-songwriter Andrea England has a unique ability to work successfully in many different music worlds, placing pop co-writes such as “Casualty” on Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger’s solo debut album, Killer Love, (for which she earned a U.K. Gold Record), country co-writes with rising stars and CCMA nominees Meghan Patrick and Twin Kennedy, while recording and performing as an Americana/folk solo artist herself.
Here are a few singles Andrea’s cowritten:
Andrea wrote or cowrote every one on her own releases:
Andrea’s debut full-length album, Lemonade, thrust her onto the scene with three Music Nova Scotia Award nominations, a TIMA Award, and prizes in the John Lennon International, USA, International, OCFF and NSAI songwriting competitions, and a host of film and TV placements.
A full seven years later, Andrea released her sophomore effort, Hope & Other Sins (produced by powerhouse producer/guitarist Colin Linden) reconfirming her place at the artists’ table as it promptly entered Cashbox Magazine’s Top 50 Folk chart and hit #1 on the Galaxy Folk Roots Radio. The respect Andrea has garnered among her fellow songwriters is clear, as they’ve lent their musical talents to her most recent album, Hope & Other Sins, produced by Colin Linden (Nashville TV Show, the Band). In addition to the accomplished Linden himself on guitar, mandolin & dobro, you’ll hear Damhnait Doyle, Liz Rodrigues, & Carolyn Dawn Johnson on harmony vocals, Grammy Award winner Gordie Sampson on guitar, Dan Dugmore on pedal Steel, John Whynot on organ, and Bruce Brody 9Line Justice/Patti Smith Band) on piano.
An alumnus of many a SOCAN Songwriter Cafe and official industry showcase (CCMA, SXSW, NXNE, CMW, ECMA, MNS, NSAI, FAI) and an alumnus of ASCAP’s prestigious Lester Sill L.A. Songwriters Workshop (as 1 of only 12 songwriters – and the first Canadian and SOCAN member– selected to attend the annual L.A. songwriters summit), Andrea continues to build a multi-genre song catalogue, collaborating with an impressive list of Canadian and international pop, country and R&B hit-makers, including Liz Rodrigues (Celine Dion, Eminem), Adam Messinger (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande), Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Hayley Gene (Cody Simpson), Rob Wells (Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez), Boi-1da (Eminem, Drake), Matthew Burnett, (Eminem), Jeremy Ruzumna (Bruno Mars, Macy Gray), Andrew Fromm (BS Boys), Curtis Richardson (J.
