Music for me is about connecting.
By connecting, I mean sharing our thoughts, feelings, experiences, and ultimately, the journey we take on this planet – and depending on what you believe – beyond.
Why connect? To make sense of it all…or to at least take some comfort in the attempt.
In trying to make sense of it all, I have come to realize that some things make no sense whatsoever, at least not in the grand scheme of things. Oh sure, bullying makes sense to the bully, and corruption makes sense to the corrupt….but at the end of the day, we’re all here on this same earth, trying to find a happy and meaningful way through it.
At its best, music both embodies and promotes empathy; but there are times when empathy alone is not enough, and action is required. It’s in that spirit of action that I ask you to join me in supporting one or more of the following organizations in whichever way you can.
